The 3rd annual Burg Comics Con will take place on Saturday October 20, 2012 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Southeastern Illinois College Foundation Building in Harrisburg, IL. As of July 27, 2012, about 40 dealer tables have been reserved for the convention.
Heroclix Events
Starting at 10:30 AM the con will begin two Battle Royale events.  As soon as 4 players signup, the  Battle Royale will begin. Each Battle Royale will cost $6 and participants will be provided a booster of Chaos Wars.  At the completion of the Battle Royale, participants will draft from the boosters in place order.
At noon during the con there will be a HeroClix tournament. Tournament Details (Subject to change):
- 300 points
- Modern Age
- 50 minute rounds
- 1st prize = Choice of Chaos War OP figure set or Ziran the Tester (2nd place will get what is left)
- No entry fee
Extra tables will be setup for use to trade comics and play games.
Costume Contest
New this year will be a costume contest. Categories for the costume contest will be Superhero – Children (Ages 0 to 13) and Superhero – Adult. The winner of each category will recieve a prize.  All costume participants will be eligible to receive a digital photo from the show courtesy of Wayman Photography.
Costume Contest Rules:
- Any prop, item or activity that presents the possiblity of damage to the entrants, their costumes, the audience, or the facility is prohibited.
- Good taste must be used in the creation and presentation of costumes. Gore, violence, nudity, profanity and other objectional elements are prohibited. Burg Comics Con is a family oriented event so please use common sense in the selection of your costume.
- Failure to abide by any of the costume contest rules may result in disqualification from the contest and possible removal from the convention site.

Pathfinder RPG
The following Pathfinder events will take place during the convention:
10 AM to 2 PM

- Rise of the Goblin Guild (level 1-5)
- We Be Goblins! (level 1-2)
2 PM to 6 PM
- First Steps, Part 2: To Delve the Dungeon Deep (level 1)
